Cass leaned against the wall of the dungeon. It was in the server 'Dog Dancing, Half-boiled, Messenger'. He had just sent a message to Subaru, whose user address he had gotten from Balmung of the Azure Sky. The message said this:


Subaru

This is Cass, known on the boards as Heavenly Knight. I must talk to you about something. Please come talk to me outside the knight's headquarters.

Cass

Cass sighed. This was something to get Sapphire out, but he wasn't setting a trap. He sent her another mail.


Subaru

This is no trap. I only wish to talk at this moment. Yes, I would like to get the Black Rouge out, but do not wish to do so dishonorably. I am waiting just outside this dungeon so we may talk.

Cass

Subaru sighed and walked out. She stared him in the eye. "You're negotiations, mister Cass?"

He sighed. "Well, mostly I want to know why you're keeping Sa...The Black Rouge in there. That's the first thing I want to know." he said.

"She is highly dangerouse to all crimson knights. She has killed many of their charicters." She said solomnly.

He raised his eyebrow. "Do you even know why she hates and detests the Crimson Knights?" He asked.

Subaru shook her head.

He closed his eyes. "It happened exactly one year ago. She was training with her friend when a player killer came by. He PKed her friend, but not her. There were Crimson Knights around, but they didn't help her. When she logged off, she heard that her friend was in the hospital, diagnosed with acomatose. When she got to the hospital, she found out that her friend was the first person so far who died." He said. He looked up. "That's why she forever holds a grudge against the Crimson Knights." he explained.

Subaru's eyes widened. "Oh my..."

Cass sighed. "Do you see why I need to get her out of here?" he asked.

Subaru nodded. "I understand. She will be released tomorrow."

He smiled. "Thank you. You are a very kind user." He said. He tilted his head a little. "But why can she not be released today?" he asked, not realizing that he might be pushing it.

"silver knight would never approve." She said, looking down a bit.

He sighed. "I understand. I will log back on tomorrow to come and pick her up." He said. He closed his eyes, looking like he was about to log out, but suddenly looked up again. "Hold on a moment. Did you, by any chance, capture another girl as well? One that was with the Black Rouge?" he asked.
